The incident: Eden Hardard, Chelsea Football Player captured on national TV
Do you think they have coward out of the situation? As a parent, how would you feel if you child was assaulted by an adult who suppose to be a professional sportmen of a multi-million pound (dollar) club and, this incident was broadcasted nation-wide and around the world.
If a crime is not punished accordingly to the ruling legal standards, and responsible adults walk away from their moral duties as a parent to protect & fight for their child’s rights; sports manager chooses to turn a blind eye to moral injustice caused by their players; chairman & directors of the Football Association (FA) who fails to endorse professional standards within the sport that suppose to uphold the people within the sport with integrity, value and sportsmanship, then what does this say to our kids who depends on us? And to those kids who are less fortunate and might even be suffering right this moment? Forget hope or justice because there is no place for that in our society?
One parent we spoke to, Julia from London, UK said “I will write 5 letters, one to the FA, one to the Swansea manager (parent), one to the FA and another to the sponsor of the sport Samsung and Adidas to express my views. As a parent with kids, I’m sick by the dad’s response during the interview. You can see he doesn’t care in his eyes.”
David, from Devon “It’s not right to hurt anyone, and he’s a kid for godsake! At the end of the day, it’s a sport and the sports managers is not responsible for the players actions. But he chose to play Eden Hazard on the field and they both screwed up.”
There are several supporters of of Eden Harzard and millions of supporters of the Chelsea football club. We are not judging the club on it’s merits or talent, but by their actions to take social and moral responsibilities over an entertainment sport.
